The Charity
Since its early days, the Open’s main goal has been to support the Redkite charity whose mission is to help kids who have been diagnosed with cancer and need to leave New Caledonia to get long term treatment at the Westmead Children Hospital.
The charity coordinator and her team of volunteers provide a wide range of services to families affected by cancer including emotional and logistic support which helps make the kids’ day to day life at the hospital a bit easier.
